This was a quote from Howard, one of our runners who raised money for Response.
Team Response pushed on despite the heat, and everyone finished the race! Thanks for having us at your stunning grounds Blenheim, and an extra special thank-you to all our runners and spectators, every single one of you made it a special day and we hope to see you at our fundraising events in the future.
The Blenheim 7k is an inclusive race for runners and walkers to raise money for local and national charities. There were several different races: the main 7k, you could take part with your dog or do the 4-mile race in a wheelchair or with a buggy, and there was also a 1-mile race for under 15s. A great time was had by all!
We raised £1500!
How brilliant! The money raised from the event will go directly towards Response’s services for Adults and Young People struggling with mental illness and homelessness, helping individuals to live fulfilling lives in the community.
