Harwood house opened in the winter of 2020 and is a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week supported living scheme for adults with severe and enduring mental illness.
The recovery model at Harwood House is designed to engage clients needing continued high-level support, particularly for people who have had extended stays on acute psychiatric and rehabilitation wards, or those returning closer to home after periods in out-of-county placements.
Harwood House was the first of its kind in Buckinghamshire and Response’s first in the county. Following a recent Provider Assessment And Market Management Solution (PAMMS) from the Buckinghamshire Council Commissioning Team, the service received an Excellent rating. This is an outcome that Response is thrilled to receive.
