Wellbeing Youth Work

Wellbeing Youth Work

In a number of secondary schools in Oxfordshire, you will find a wellbeing Youth Worker, who is there to support your general wellbeing needs.

Whether you want to join a lunchtime drop-in to get some quick hints and tips, attend an interest club run by a Youth Worker, or have a 1-1 chat to talk through what's going on for you, our Youth Workers are here to help.

Youth Work focusses on your general wellbeing. Therefore, if you feel like you are significantly struggling, and need more serious support, Youth Workers can signpost to services that can better meet your needs. Or you can find links to 24/7 support services here.

Lunchtime sessions

We offer a chill lunchtime space to drop in and come and hang out. Youth Workers have lots of wellbeing activities and tools for your needs.

Groups

Have a hobby you want to explore? Want to learn how to improve your well-being alongside a group of like-minded people? Or, think you would benefit from some peer support?

The Youth Workers can help! Let them know your ideas and interest and lets see if we can make a group to suit your needs.

1-1 Sessions

Need a safe space to chat about yourself without judgement? Feel like you would benefit from some 1-1 time with a Youth Worker?

Discuss with a Youth Worker in a drop in session or a Teacher and see if a referral can be made!
