The Thatcham Wellbeing Hub

Based in Thatcham, West Berkshire, our Wellbeing Hub is here to support young people aged 11-25 with scheduled support and drop-in sessions.

The Thatcham Wellbeing Hub

The Wellbeing Hub is Response’s first project aimed at providing preventative and open access support to the community.

The Hub is a physical location, based in Thatcham in West Berkshire, where young people can access scheduled support or drop in for sessions to explore what is available. We support young people aged 11-25.

What support do we offer?

Staffed by our Wellbeing Youth Workers, it is focused on offering our REACH framework, which offers 12 sessions of targeted 1:1 support. Our approach is a youth worker led approach to mental health and is informed by solution-focused therapeutic approaches, social prescribing and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and neurodiversity awareness.

As well as working from the Hub building, we also provide outreach into schools and other community spaces as part of a flexible and person-centred approach.

How to access support

Our referrals are open access, meaning that professionals who work with young people, parents and carers, and - most importantly - young people themselves can refer into the Hub with our online referral form.

Get in touch

Our service is aimed at supporting the need in Thatcham and the local area.

If you have questions regarding the service before making a referral or to enquire more generally, please contact us at: thatchamhub@response.org.uk

We are also interested in talking to local businesses or donors who might want to support our work. The Hub is not a commissioned service, so we are looking for any support to keep this offer to the community. Please reach out if you'd like to discuss ways to support the Hub - we'd love to hear from you.
