These services support individuals who are taking the next step in their recovery journey, offering structured accommodation with 9–5 on-site staff and medication support to help build stability and independence. The focus is on managing mental health and daily living needs, developing recovery skills, and supporting individuals to progress towards more independent or settled accommodation in the community.
Housing with 9-5 staff on-site and medication assistance services
Newman Court creates a safe and supportive environment for people to focus on their recovery, whilst still benefitting from being situated in a lively and community oriented location. Staff are available to help with all aspects of recovery from serious mental health challenges and Newman Court offers topnotch facilities and dedicated activities space.
Project 12 is supported by a small but highly experienced and dedicated team of support workers. This service is often a first step for people moving from 24-hour supported services, and offers an opportunity for people to sharpen up their daily living skills.
Residents enjoy a variety of activities designed to empower individuals, as well as build independence and confidence for the future.
Activities include:
- breakfast club
- wellbeing groups
- arts & crafts sessions
- volunteering, education, and paid employment opportunities.
Support includes:
- supporting residents around meaningful activity
- encouragement and support to better manage their mental health
- one-to-one support in all areas with a named worker
- support to learn life skills
- support around managing their money (if applicable)
- individualised support plans
- recovery programmes
- medication management support.
Local community: The service is based in Oxfordshire, close to local shops, GP services, and community amenities, supporting individuals to stay connected and engage in everyday life.

To apply for support within our community housing with on-site and medication assistance services, please contact referrals@response.org.uk and we will connect you with the appropriate service manager who can help you with your application.

This service is for individuals who are taking the next step in their recovery journey, with support to manage their mental health, daily living and medication needs.
In general, we advise two years. However, we have supported individuals that have been here longer than this, and when they are ready to move on, staff will be there to support them every step of the way.
Referrals and applications to this service will be made directly to the service management team, however any enquires regarding placements can also be sent to referrals@response.org.uk.
Staff will assist with support and anything else you may need. We also have small welcome packs with useful information for you.
We ask for four weeks’ notice in writing from individuals. Depending on where they are moving on to we can support with this along with applying to the council if this is their preferred move-on method. We also offer support six weeks after the tenancy has ended with us.
Unfortunately we cannot accept individuals within these services with pets.
Smoking in the building, within communal areas, or individual living spaces is not permitted. Response is committed to creating a smoke free environment in all of its services, for both staff and the people we support, to enjoy clean air when indoors. There are however external smoking areas that can be used.
There is no internet provided. However, many individuals pay for their own WiFi.
