Sport and Health

We all know that physical activity plays a huge part in how we feel and the positive impact of this is even more pronounced when living with a mental illness. The personal outcomes, ‘feeling better’ and a sense of achievement are all key. It’s widely believed that engaging in sport and activity significantly enhances the efficacy of medical and therapeutic interventions, leading to faster and more effective recovery.

In the last year, nearly 300 people engaged with our Sport and Health activities, enjoying over 3,310 hours of positive activity.
