Equality and Diversity
Response is totally committed to fairness and equality and as a demonstration of this has appointed Tapiwa Moyo (pictured) as Equality and Diversity Advisor. The role’s objective’s are to raise awareness of equality and diversity issues within Response, make formal links with external organisations for minority and discriminated against groups and to provide signposting for Response Service Users to appropriate services.
Working to set targets, the Equality and Diversity Advisor has identified Equality and Diversity ‘Champions’ in all our projects, has a slot in our newsletter and is in regular contact with relevant external organisations. All Response staff undergo mandatory training in Equality and Diversity in Supported Housing.

As part of our staff involvement and quality improvement initiatives, staff hold a monthly forum to :
- Exchange views and ideas, discuss problems, share experience, support each other
- Feel well informed about what is happening in the organisation, consider developments and feed back
